Server/Assistant Manager

Duties

• Assist servers by setting up tables, arranging silverware, glassware, and condiments to ensure a smooth dining flow
• Support food preparation and delivery by helping with plating, garnishing, and timely table service
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including clearing tables, sweeping floors, and sanitizing surfaces regularly
• Handle food handling responsibilities safely and efficiently in accordance with food safety standards
• Support cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) operations when needed during busy service times
• Restock service stations with necessary supplies such as napkins, utensils, and condiments to keep service seamless
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any guest needs promptly

Skills

• Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly valued for understanding the flow of hospitality
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude toward guests and team members
• Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety protocols to ensure high standards of hygiene
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology for efficient transactions
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus, along with barista or meal preparation background
• Willingness to learn new skills related to food safety, cashiering, and guest services

Pay: $17.60-$24.27 per hour
