Duties

• Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and serve food and drinks efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to proper food safety and sanitation standards.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and dining spaces by bussing tables and assisting with food preparation when needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation protocols to uphold high standards of hygiene.
• Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating an inviting atmosphere suitable for both fine dining and nightlife settings.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently.
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and cashiering tasks accurately.
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous; kitchen or culinary experience is a plus.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning duties like bussing tables or cleaning the bar area.
