Server/Bar tender

Job Summary

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
• Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales records
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bar counters, tables, and dining spaces
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably with fine dining or nightclub backgrounds
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Demonstrated cocktail expertise along with spirits knowledge and wine familiarity
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while processing sales efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Previous experience in beverage service, bartending, or host/hostess roles within the food industry is highly desirable
