Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive food and beverage service in a lively, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist them in selecting menu items, including cocktails, spirits, wines, and food offerings.
• Prepare and serve beverages accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for reservations and order management.
• Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales records.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bar tops, tables, and beverage stations.
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling, serving, and preparation processes.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address guest needs promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or high-volume settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
• Extensive cocktail experience along with spirits knowledge; familiarity with wine pairing is desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking between serving drinks, food, and processing transactions.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transaction processing; attention to detail is essential.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Hospitality background with experience in beverage service, bussing tables, cashiering, and guest relations preferred.

Pay: $25.61 - $35.00 per hour
