Server/Barista

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and lattes
• Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service
• Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make drinks according to recipes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
• Assist with food preparation and food handling as needed
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Provide assistance to customers with menu selection and answer any questions they may have
• Ensure that all orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the food service industry is required
• Knowledge of basic math for cash handling purposes
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order preparation
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety practices and guidelines
