Server/Barista/Bartender

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including coffee, non-alcoholic drinks, and alcoholic drinks with precision and care
• Take customer orders accurately using POS system like Toast POS, process cash and card transactions efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station, dining area, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
• Handle retail sales transactions for merchandise or packaged food items with accuracy using retail math skills
• Assist in food preparation and beverage assembly to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while maintaining high-quality service standards
• Follow all food handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have Utah Food Handler & Alcohol Certificates
• Available to work weekends and holidays
• Previous experience in food service, café work, or retail sales transactions is highly preferred
• Proficiency with Toast POS is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to prepare non-alcoholic beverages confidently as well as serve drinks responsibly when handling alcohol (if applicable)
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and retail math calculations
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with coffee preparation or barista duties is desirable but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
