Server/Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties

• Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and accuracy
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, following all safety guidelines
• Use POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process orders swiftly and accurately
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with integrity and precision
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar area, dining space, and food prep zones in accordance with food safety regulations
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed during food service and preparation
• Assist in food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff to deliver timely service
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve guests efficiently without compromising quality
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
• Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and inventory management
• Food preparation skills are advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously
• Kitchen experience or hospitality background is beneficial for understanding food flow and guest needs

Pay: $16.60-$21.60 per hour
