Server/Bartender

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options using established recipes or custom creations
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
• Manage cash transactions with precision, ensuring proper handling of payments and change
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in compliance with food safety standards
• Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep offerings fresh and exciting
• Upsell menu items by engaging guests with product knowledge, including craft beers, spirits, wines, and specialty cocktails
• Handle food service responsibilities when needed, including serving dishes promptly and courteously
• Manage bar inventory levels, restock supplies as necessary, and track usage to minimize waste
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours or special events such as banquets or nightclubs

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending or serving within a restaurant or hospitality environment; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling skills are essential
• Expertise in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, and beverage recipe development
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
• Experience with beverage industry tools such as spirits knowledge, brewing processes, or catering experience is advantageous
• Strong communication skills paired with a friendly attitude that enhances guest interactions
