Server at Cortina 64 Italian Eatery & Bar

Cortina 64 Italian Eatery & Bar is looking for an experienced, energetic, and personable Server to join our team in Sudbury, Ontario.

We’re an Italian restaurant and bar with a large dining room, live entertainment, and a growing events program. We’re looking for someone who can provide excellent service while creating a fun, welcoming experience for our guests.

What You’ll Do

• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them efficiently
• Make knowledgeable recommendations about our food and beverage offerings
• Maintain a clean and organized section
• Process payments accurately
• Bar tend
• Work closely with the kitchen, hosts, and management team
• Help create a positive atmosphere for guests and coworkers
• Maintain a high standard of service during busy periods
• Assist with private events and special functions when required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous serving experience preferred but not necessary
• Smart Serve certification required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working in a fast paced restaurant environment
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy services
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

The Right Person

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality. You should be comfortable talking to guests, recommending items, selling another round when appropriate, and making people feel like they’re being taken care of.

Certification: Smart Serve required

Pay: $17.70 per hour
