Server/Bartender

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the TOAST POS system. Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
• Manage cash transactions efficiently while processing payments accurately and handling cash safely
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
• Engage with guests to recommend menu items, 24 rotating craft beer selection, while enhancing their overall experience
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders during busy service periods
• Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption levels
• Assist in bar management duties when needed, including inventory checks and restocking supplies
• Foster a welcoming environment by providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles such as bartending or serving in fine dining or nightclub settings is not required but preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the TOAST POS system is not required but preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge in, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, and beverage recipe development
• Experience with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume service efficiently
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately using retail math skills
• Knowledge of spirits, and beverage trends especially craft beer
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. This is a must and the most important quality in a Pappos employee
• Basic math skills for billing and inventory management; cashiering experience is a plus
• Previous restaurant or bar management experience is advantageous but not required

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
