Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
• Upsell menu items, drinks, and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed, ensuring timely service during busy hours

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other restaurant technology tools
• Proven experience in food service roles such as server, bartender, or host/hostess in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs with professionalism
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, beverage service, and food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for processing transactions and calculating bills or tips
• Previous experience in hospitality environments emphasizing guest satisfaction, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
