Server/Bartender

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess excellent communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties

• Welcome guests warmly and take their orders accurately
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with licensing laws and company policies
• Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas throughout your shift
• Handle card transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to assist guests effectively
• Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
• Assist in setting up tables, clearing dishes, and resetting the dining area/bar as needed

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is desirable
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: £12.75-£14.00 per hour
