Server/Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Operate the POS system efficiently to process orders and manage payments.
• Engage with customers, providing friendly service and recommendations while maintaining a positive dining experience.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Handle customer inquiries or complaints with professionalism and promptness.
• Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service and food handling practices.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred, particularly in a bartending role.
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous for efficient order processing.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
• Excellent math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
• Time management skills are crucial to handle multiple orders during peak hours effectively.
• A willingness to help teammates and contribute positively to the work environment is highly valued.
