Server/Bartender

Duties

• Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve with enthusiasm to enhance the guest experience
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing cash transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
• Develop beverage recipes and suggest pairings to increase sales and elevate the guest experience
• Handle cash register operations, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy in cash handling procedures
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders during busy service periods

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably with fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing
• Extensive cocktail mixing skills along with knowledge of spirits, wine, brewing processes, and beverage recipe development
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods using strong time management skills
• Familiarity with food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and basic math for accurate order calculations
• Previous experience with bartending or bar management is highly desirable; experience in catering or retail math is a plus
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced hospitality environment
