Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist them in selecting food and beverages, providing detailed descriptions to enhance their experience
• Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring timely and correct delivery of food and drinks
• Mix, garnish, and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
• Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours while maintaining high standards of hospitality
• Uphold food safety standards by adhering to health regulations and sanitation procedures at all times

Skills

• Strong background in hospitality with previous restaurant or bar experience preferred
• Knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and serving practices
• Excellent communication skills to engage with guests professionally and warmly
• Ability to manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management
• Basic math skills for handling payments, tips, and inventory counts accurately
• Familiarity with food safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude
