Server/bartender

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Take food orders from guests at tables or at the bar, communicating effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Manage POS systems.
• Upsell menu items to increase sales while providing knowledgeable recommendations about drinks and food options
• Handle cash transactions accurately.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their experience, promptly addressing any concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not necessary.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that energizes the team and delights guests
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking between serving food, drinks, and handling transaction
• Strong communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with team members across shifts in a hospitality setting
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks associated with serving duties
