Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing.
• Upsell menu items such as specialty cocktails, wines, or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food, spirits, wine pairings, and beverage options based on guest preferences.
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling and preparation stages.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly.
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns professionally and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through strong time management skills.
• Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques.
• Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for processing transactions and handling cash or credit payments.
• Previous experience in roles such as host/hostess or bussing can be advantageous but not mandatory.
