BLUE NOTE LONDON IS HIRING

The internationally renowned jazz club has recently opened its first UK venue in Covent Garden and is looking for experienced waiters and bartenders to join the team.

£18–£22/hour expected earnings including tronc + tips

Love hospitality and live music? This is a chance to join the team at Blue Note’s first UK venue.

The jazz club name known from New York, Tokyo and Milan has arrived in London. The opening-season line-up includes Erykah Badu, Jamie Cullum and Nubya Garcia and the team looking after those nights is growing.

You’ll be joining early in the London venue’s life, with training from the Blue Note team and opportunities to move into supervisor roles and beyond as it develops.

Hours:

• 3pm-1am, family meal, briefing and set-up before doors open at 5pm.
• Full-time: 4-5 shifts a week
• Part-time: minimum commitment of 2–3 shifts a week

Experience:

At least two years in premium or high-volume London restaurants, bars, members’ clubs or music venues.

Bartenders: strong classic cocktails, good preparation and speed under pressure

Waiters: confident section service and good wine and drinks knowledge

Personality matters, and for this one a love of music is obviously a big plus.

You must be 18+, have the right to work in the UK and be available evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

The £18-£22 expected earnings range includes tronc (service charge), is based on projected sales. The base rate of £13.50 per hour is guaranteed.
