Experienced Servers, Bartenders & Supervisors Wanted – The Edge Restaurant & Bar @ The Rise Resort

Reports to the Director of Food and Beverage

The Edge Restaurant & Bar seeks a full & part-time servers, bartenders, hosts, & expos. Must be positive, energetic an possess strong social and motivational skills to achieve sales, profitability, and service goals. Strong customer focus and mentorship capabilities.

Position Summary: These positions are responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests in a friendly and efficient manner. This role involves both serving tables and tending the bar, ensuring a memorable dining and drinking experience.

Responsibilities:

Service Responsibilities:

• Greet guests promptly and courteously.
• Provide menus and make recommendations upon request.
• Answer questions regarding the menu and make suggestions for complementary items.
• Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner.
• Ensure orders are delivered correctly and meet quality standards.
• Handle any guest complaints or issues with a positive attitude and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Monitor guest dining experience and promptly address any additional needs.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently after guests leave.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.

Bartending Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and guest preferences.
• Ensure proper mixing techniques and presentation standards.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies.
• Assist in ordering and restocking bar supplies as needed.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.

General Responsibilities:

• Work closely with kitchen staff, management, and other servers to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Assist in training new staff as needed.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including sanitation and hygiene standards.
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws regarding alcohol service.:
• Provide a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
• Handle special requests and accommodate guests with allergies or dietary restrictions.
• Stay updated on menu changes, specials, and restaurant promotions.
• Continuously improve knowledge of food and beverage offerings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Some post-secondary education preferred, _ specifically in the Tourism or Food and Beverage
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a food and beverage setting
• Effective communication and leadership

• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of the products, services, sector, industry, and local area

Hours:

• Some weekend work.
• Variable hours

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $18.25 per hour
