Overlook Tavern at Knoll West is a newly renovated Sports Bar located in the Knoll Country Club West Clubhouse. The Tavern is open to both the golfers at the course as well as the public.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role located in Parsippany, NJ for a Bartender/Server for Overlook Tavern at Knoll West. The Bartender/Server will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages, food orders, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. In addition, they will interact with guests, assist with menu selection, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the dining experience.

Duties

-Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers

• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take orders and process payments using the cash register or POS system
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Monitor customer alcohol consumption and enforce age restrictions
• Provide recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient service
• Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations
• Handle any customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner

Experience:

• 1 year of previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems is a plus
• Strong math skills for accurately processing payments and making change
• Knowledge of retail math for inventory management purposes
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
