Server/Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system and handle cash responsibly.
• Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with local laws.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service.
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner, creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits.
• Stay informed about new products, trends in the beverage industry, and seasonal offerings.

Experience

• Previous bartending experience is mandatory; candidates with experience in the food service or hospitality industry will be considered.
• Familiarity with POS systems for processing orders and payments is advantageous.
• Strong cash handling skills are essential for managing transactions effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with guests.
• Basic math skills are necessary for managing tabs and calculating drink prices accurately.
• A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are key attributes for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.95-$18.00 per hour
