Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks including cocktails, craft beers, wines, and spirits with precision and flair
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies
• Process cash transactions efficiently while managing tabs and processing payments accurately
• Assist in beverage recipe development and suggest menu pairings to enhance guest experience
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders during busy periods such as banquets or nightclubs events
• Manage bar inventory levels, restock supplies, and monitor product quality to ensure consistency in service
• Uphold high standards of hospitality industry experience by providing engaging service that exceeds guest expectations
• Support bar management in maintaining operational excellence during shifts

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
• Proven bartending skills with cocktail mixing expertise and knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer brewing processes
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours
• Knowledge of beverage recipe development, food handling procedures, and food safety regulations
• Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, catering events, or banquet halls with a focus on hospitality excellence
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals
• Familiarity with nightclubs or nightlife venues for energetic service environments
• Effective communication skills for teamwork with kitchen staff and fellow servers/bartenders
• Basic understanding of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
