Server/Bartender

Are you a high-energy multi-tasker who loves sports, great food, and making people feel at home? Between the Buns in Osceola is looking for experienced, dynamic Servers/Bartenders to join our team! As a staple of the Michiana community since 1985, we pride ourselves on a lively, family-friendly sports bar atmosphere, exceptional guest service, and an incredible scratch-made menu. In this dual role, you will cross-train between the floor and the bar, delivering top-tier hospitality whether you are pouring cold drafts for the big game or serving up our hometown food favorites.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Exceptional Service: Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and anticipate table needs in a fast-paced environment.

Craft & Pour: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with state laws and company recipes. Maintain extensive knowledge of our beer selection and drink specials.

Know the Menu: Confidently explain our scratch-made menu, including burger variations, wing sauces, and daily specials, to assist guests and drive upsells.

Game-Day Host: Manage the bar and dining areas efficiently during high-volume sports broadcasts, keeping up the high energy and ensuring every fan has a great view and a full glass.

Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the bar, service stations, and dining areas pristine, organized, and fully stocked. Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Team Collaboration: Handle cash and POS transactions accurately while working collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience in high-volume bartending and casual dining serving preferred, however not required.

Legal Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old and possess (or be willing to obtain) a valid Indiana Server/Bartender Permit (ATC) & the Indiana ServSafe Certification for online Server Training Course.

Skills: Strong communication, active listening, and mathematical skills for managing bills and tabs. Ability to memorize rotating drink specials and menu changes.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and handle a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Availability: Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and major sports game days.

Pay: $2.13 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
