Duties

• Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits with precision and flair.
• Develop and suggest beverage recipes to enhance the guest experience and promote sales.
• Ensure all food handling, safety standards, and sanitation procedures are strictly followed to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Process cash transactions efficiently, handle cash register operations, and balance cash drawers accurately at shift end.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including wine pairings and specialty drinks, to increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, restock supplies as needed, and assist with food service when required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles, with a focus on bartending or serving.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; previous experience with POS processing is preferred.
• Skilled in mixology techniques, cocktail creation, beverage recipe development, and spirits knowledge.
• Familiarity with fine dining standards, wine knowledge, craft beer experience, and food safety protocols.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy shifts.
• Demonstrated customer service excellence with a friendly attitude and strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills; basic math proficiency is essential.
• Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus; familiarity with food handling regulations is required.

Pay: Up to $17.13 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
