Server/Bartender

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, efficiently handle food and beverage orders, and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred, but we provide training for the right candidate. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly as a bartender.
• Ensure all food safety and food handling procedures are followed according to health regulations.
• Manage cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, bar, and service stations throughout the shift.
• Assist in setting up tables, refilling supplies, and closing out registers at shift end.
• Provide attentive customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally.
• Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment for all guests.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; familiarity with Micros POS or similar systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Time management skills to ensure timely service during busy hours.
• Friendly demeanor with a professional attitude towards guest interactions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed; experience in hospitality or food industry is desirable but not required.
