SERVER/BARTENDER

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fine dining or nightclub setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations to enhance the guest experience through upselling techniques.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and adherence to food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures and basic math skills.
• Assist with hosting duties as needed, ensuring smooth guest flow during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience in a server role is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and guest relations.
• Basic culinary knowledge and food handling experience are advantageous.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
• Must demonstrate strong sales abilities through upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction.

Pay: $5.00 - $10.00 per hour
