Server/Bartender

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, offering recommendations and answering questions about food and beverages
• Take accurate orders using a POS (Point of Sale) system, ensuring timely and efficient service
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with safety standards and company policies
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through Micros POS or similar systems
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
• Assist in food handling and serving food items when necessary, adhering to proper food safety protocols

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, with a strong foundation in customer service and hospitality
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or equivalent cash register technology
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and change calculations
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to serve diverse guests professionally
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal requirements
