Server/Bartender

Job Overview

We are looking to hire 1 bartender (bar and coffee) and 1 server to work every other weekend.

GUEST BARTENDER / SERVER - these front of house team members are key players, and are the face of Cool City. Ideally, this candidate will have prior brewery and/or restaurant experience, and will be given priority with these qualifications. This candidate is always focused on delivering great hospitality, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and should expect to work nights and weekends, mainly every other weekend.

Job Responsibilities:

• Engages with guests and leaves them with a positivie memorable experience
• Greets all guests within 60 seconds, and invites guests back every time
• Educates themselves on our offerings, and explains our menu to guests, makes personal recommendations, and effectively upsells directed items.
• Takes orders for guests, which include: food, coffee, beer, cocktails, and merchandise.
• Understands the importance of allergies, and delivering info. To the kitchen properly.
• Deliver food and drinks to guests, insuring their order is correct and satisfactory
• Is attentive to guests from the time they enter to time of departure.
• Keeps the dining room clean, busses tables, sanitizes set tables, etc.
• Is responsible for opening / closing duties in FOH
• Is responsible for helping all areas of the business when needed
• Is willing to be cross-trained and assist wherever help is most needed across the business

Skill Set

• Has experience working in a brewery and/or restaurant
• Has strong awareness & great communication skills
• Makes guests feel welcome and helps build community
• Hustles! Is detail oriented, can multitask and work well under pressure
• Has a desire to be part of and contribute to an outstanding culture

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• Must be 16 to serve, 18 to bartend
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends
• Ability to withstand extended standing, walking, bending stooping, lifting, up to #30.
• Knowledge of Toast Point of Sale preferred.
• Cool City Brewing Company, located in downtown Two Rivers Wi, is a brewpub, with an on-site brewery, coffee shop, and restaurant all wrapped into one amazing space. We specialize in flights and are known as "Home of The Flights"

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
