Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong background in serving or bartending
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Lightspeed for order entry and transaction processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, billing, and change calculations
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently
• Experience with food preparation, kitchen procedures, or hospitality operations is highly desirable
• Effective communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience while increasing sales potential
