Server/Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash, credit card transactions, and manage tabs efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards.
• Develop beverage recipes and assist in menu updates to enhance guest experience and promote sales.
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management while providing attentive customer service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments swiftly, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery timing for optimal guest satisfaction.
• Uphold all food safety regulations, including proper food handling practices and sanitation protocols.
• Engage with guests to promote specials, upsell menu items, and foster a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits.

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless transaction processing.
• Proven bartending skills with knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer selection, and beverage recipe development.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills to connect with diverse guests.
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in fine dining environments or upscale hospitality settings preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation practices.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for sales promotion opportunities.
• Familiarity with catering or banquet experience is a plus for special events hosting.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple responsibilities independently.
• Hospitality industry experience that demonstrates adaptability, professionalism, and a passion for service excellence.

Pay: $23.68 - $28.52 per hour
