Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take and accurately process food and beverage orders using Toast POS system.
• Serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, craft beers, wines, and spirits
• Develop and suggest menu items to enhance guest experience and promote food and drink specials
• Manage cash and credit transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in cashiering and cash handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all service areas, adhering to food handling regulations
• Assist with co-workers during busy hours, including inventory checks and restocking supplies

Experience

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles.
• Strong knowledge of Toast POS system is a bonus but can be trained.
• Knowledge in basic cocktails, beer, wine and liquors.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally
• Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling practices, and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Able to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency is a must
