Server/Bartender

Responsibilities

• Take and accurately process food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise transactions.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits while adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Provide attentive, friendly service to guests, anticipating their needs and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards.
• Develop beverage recipes and assist in menu updates to keep offerings fresh and appealing.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during shifts, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights or special events such as banquets or nightclubs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles with a strong background in bartending or serving in fine dining or nightclub environments.
• Demonstrated expertise with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling procedures.
• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer brewing processes.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Experience with food safety protocols, food handling, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for retail math, cash transactions, and tip processing.
• Previous experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus; hospitality industry experience is highly valued.
