District Kitchen + Cocktails is looking for experienced, hospitality-driven Servers/Bartenders who can confidently deliver exceptional service both on the dining room floor and behind the bar.

We're looking for professionals who understand that great hospitality goes beyond taking orders. It's about creating memorable guest experiences, anticipating needs, making thoughtful recommendations, and driving sales through genuine hospitality.

This position requires experience in both serving and bartending, strong wine knowledge, and proven upselling skills.

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional, attentive service in both server and bartender roles.
• Confidently recommend wines, cocktails, and menu items based on guest preferences.
• Demonstrate strong wine knowledge, tasting profiles, and food pairings.
• Drive sales through intentional upselling of premium spirits, wine, appetizers, entrées, and desserts.
• Create memorable guest experiences through engaging, personalized hospitality.
• Maintain excellent menu knowledge, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairings.
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver polished, efficient service.
• Prepare and execute craft cocktails with consistency and attention to detail.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and professionalism.
• Work collaboratively with the FOH and culinary teams to ensure seamless service.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in both full-service restaurant serving and bartending.
• Strong wine knowledge is required.
• Proven ability to upsell and increase guest check averages without being pushy.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Confidence discussing wine, cocktails, spirits, and chef-driven cuisine.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure during high-volume service.
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to be coached.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Current TABC certification and Texas Food Handler certification, or ability to obtain them before starting.
