Server/Bartender shift leader

Job Summary
Aisle 3 is seeking a confident, organized, and hands-on Front of House Supervisor to lead service execution and bar operations during assigned shifts. This role sits between ownership and the FOH team and is responsible for maintaining service standards, supporting staff, overseeing bar inventory and ordering, and ensuring a smooth guest experience.

This is a working supervisor role as you will be on the floor and behind the bar as needed. The ideal candidate has strong bartending experience, leadership instincts, and understands how to balance hospitality with operational discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise FOH staff during service (servers, bartenders, support staff)
• Act as the main decision-maker on the floor during assigned shifts
• Control service flow, seating pace, and table turns
• Step in to bartend or serve as needed during busy periods or short staffing
• Handle guest concerns professionally and in real time
• Maintain service standards, cleanliness, and overall guest experience
• Coordinate closely with BOH to manage pacing, timing, and communication
• Manage bar ordering and communicate with suppliers
• Conduct regular bar inventory counts, track usage, and report discrepancies
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Support onboarding, training, and coaching of FOH staff
• Communicate operational issues, staffing concerns, inventory needs, and guest feedback to ownership

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage trends.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours
• Previous experience as a shift lead, supervisor, or senior FOH preferred
• Comfortable working both on the floor and behind the bar
• Experience with bar inventory, ordering, and basic cost awareness
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude towards customers and team members.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on providing exceptional customer service.
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local regulations.

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
