Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits while adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Support bartenders by restocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling with precision.
• Assist servers in delivering food and beverages promptly to ensure excellent customer service in both casual and fine dining settings.
• Maintain knowledge of beverage recipes, cocktail techniques, and current trends in mixology to contribute to beverage recipe development.
• Uphold food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices at all times.
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently through strong time management skills during busy service hours.
• Support bar management with inventory checks, stock rotation, and cleanliness protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles such as bartending, serving, or barback positions.
• Familiarity with Toast POS systems basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Strong knowledge of beverage offerings including spirits, wine, craft beer, cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques.
• Experience working in fine dining establishments or nightclubs is highly desirable.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Previous experience supporting bar management or assisting with beverage recipe development is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a lively hospitality environment.

Pay: From $11.35 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
