Duties

• Greet guests warmly and manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems to ensure efficient seating arrangements
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions swiftly and accurately
• Serve food and drinks with professionalism, including cocktail service and beverage upselling to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Clear tables promptly, reset for new guests, and maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with food safety and sanitation protocols
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed, ensuring timely delivery of orders and proper food handling procedures
• Provide exceptional guest service by addressing inquiries, managing special requests, and fostering positive guest relations throughout their visit
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while maintaining accountability for cash handling and sales records

Experience

• Previous experience in food service roles such as server, bartender, busser, host, or food runner within a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Demonstrated knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances guest interactions
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Experience with fine dining environments or high-volume restaurants is a plus
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
• Excellent customer service abilities with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
