Server/Busser

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in customer service, upselling, and food industry operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all dining and service areas in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures to uphold health standards

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities during high-volume shifts
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cashiering and billing purposes
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Flexibility to work during peak hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
