Server/Cashier

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as TSMS system.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments via POS and managing cash handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
• Assist with food preparation or food handling tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining settings preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as TSMS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while multitasking effectively
• Experience with OpenTable reservations system or similar booking platforms is a plus
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy are essential
• Spanish and English preferred
• Flexible hours, hiring part time only for 4pm-9pm weekday and weekends. Hourly +tips included.
