Server / Cashier — Quick Service Restaurant

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic Server/Cashier to join our fast-paced quick-service restaurant team. This role is focused on providing excellent customer service, accurately taking orders and payments, serving food efficiently, and keeping the front-of-house area clean and welcoming.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Take dine-in and takeout orders accurately using the POS system.
• Process cash, credit card, and digital payments correctly.
• Answer customer questions about menu items and assist with selections.
• Assemble, package, and hand out orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages while maintaining proper presentation.
• Refill beverages, condiments, utensils, napkins, and other service supplies as needed.
• Keep the counter, dining area, beverage station, and other front-of-house areas clean and organized.
• Help with opening and closing duties.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly.
• Assist teammates during busy periods and perform other restaurant duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Friendly and professional attitude with strong customer-service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform routine cleaning and stocking duties.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Prior restaurant, cashier, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn the menu, POS system, and restaurant procedures.

Schedule: Part-time and/or full-time shifts available, including evenings and weekends.

Experience: Restaurant experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
