Cucina Baci is a cozy Italian market, wine bar cafe nestled on a creekside acre. Our 30-seat cafe is surrounded by our market, offering the finest Italian products.

Job Title: Lead Host / Cashier / Waitress

Location: Small Italian Market
Schedule: Thursday through Sunday, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Position Type: Part-Time Contract Position

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused Lead Host / Cashier / Waitress to join our small Italian market team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, can stay organized during busy periods, and is comfortable helping wherever needed.

The right person will be dependable, professional, and able to take the lead during evening service.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet guests and provide a warm, welcoming experience
• Ring up customers and process payments accurately
• Serve guests and assist with table service
• Help keep the market, dining area, and counter clean and organized
• Answer customer questions about menu items, market products, and events
• Support team members during busy periods
• Help ensure smooth closing procedures each evening
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and market staff
• Lead by example with a positive and professional attitude

Requirements:

• Must be available Thursday through Sunday, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Previous restaurant, host, cashier, or server experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Comfortable handling payments and using a POS system
• Ability to multitask in a small, fast-paced environment
• Must be friendly, dependable, and team-oriented
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift

Pay: Based on experience
Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings
