Server/Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing food preparation and cash handling tasks. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Prepare food items according to safety and quality standards.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions efficiently.
• Manage cash handling and ensure accurate register balancing at the end of shifts.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Provide assistance to customers by answering questions about menu items and making recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and service.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Experience

• Previous experience in a grocery store or quick-service fast food restaurant is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
