Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, processing sales transactions efficiently.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments swiftly and securely.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order entry and sales processing.
• Strong knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and strong communication abilities.
• Experience serving in fine dining or nightclub settings is highly desirable for delivering sophisticated beverage service including spirits and wine knowledge.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue streams.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and sales transaction processing.
• Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus for understanding food preparation processes.
