We’re looking for dependable, high-energy team members to join our front-of-house staff.

Position Overview

As a Server / Cashier at Fire Mission, you’ll be the face of the guest experience—guiding customers through our menu, taking orders, handling transactions, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied. This role combines counter service and table service, requiring strong communication, efficiency, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide a welcoming, high-energy experience
• Take accurate food and drink orders at the counter and/or tables
• Operate the POS system and handle cash/card transactions
• Guide guests through the menu and make recommendations
• Deliver food promptly and check in with guests during their meal
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations
• Assist with restocking, cleaning, and opening/closing duties
• Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
• Handle customer concerns professionally and efficiently

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, customer service, or cashier experience preferred
• Texas BBQ knowledge a plus but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Friendly, positive attitude with a team-first mindset
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Must be at least 18 years old
