Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. You will handle cash transactions accurately, promote our menu offerings through upselling techniques, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Process cash, credit card, and digital payments efficiently while ensuring transaction accuracy
• Recommend menu items, including wine and spirits, to enhance guest experience through upselling
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and beverage service, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and kitchen support when needed
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting host/hostess duties during busy periods

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances guest interactions
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash confidently
• Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation practices is a plus
• Experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is beneficial but not required

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
