Server/Cashier

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Process cash, credit card, and digital transactions swiftly and accurately
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Ensure proper food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation procedures are followed at all times
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues quickly, and ensuring satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and bar spaces in accordance with health regulations
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support during busy periods if needed
• Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage seating arrangements efficiently

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales transaction processing
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightlife settings like nightclubs
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in math calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts
• Experience with upselling techniques to increase sales while enhancing guest satisfaction
• Familiarity with reservation management tools such as OpenTable is a plus
• Basic culinary knowledge or kitchen experience is advantageous for supporting food prep when needed
