Server/Cashier

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with precision
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations and sanitation protocols
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support during busy periods when needed
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
• Utilize OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
• Support beverage service including cocktail mixing, wine knowledge application, and drink presentation
• Ensure all food handling procedures are followed diligently to uphold safety standards
• Contribute to a lively atmosphere by engaging with guests in a friendly manner during service

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant environment, or hospitality preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with POS transaction processing required
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs
• Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation practices preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting
• Restaurant experience emphasizing guest relations and sales techniques such as upselling is highly desirable

Pay: $16.00 - $16.90 per hour
