Server/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team at our fast-paced restaurant. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling orders and transactions. Your ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude will contribute significantly to our guests' dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers as they enter the restaurant, ensuring a friendly atmosphere.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing the POS system for order entry.
• Process payments and handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring basic math skills are applied correctly.
• Assist in food preparation and kitchen duties as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Provide information about menu items, specials, and promotions to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and a smooth operation during busy periods.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or quick service fast food environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.90 - $22.00 per hour
