Server/Cashier

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. This role involves taking customer orders, processing payments, and delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food handling and POS systems are preferred. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately.
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision and integrity.
• Assist in food preparation when necessary, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including dining tables, counters, and cashier stations, following food safety guidelines.
• Manage order timing to ensure prompt service during busy hours.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
• speaking Chinese or Korean would be great advantage
• Proficiency in POS systems for accurate cashiering.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders simultaneously.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures in a restaurant setting.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
