Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service from arrival to departure
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and managing tabs with POS systems like OpenTable
• Upsell menu items such as wines, spirits, cocktails, or specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas including dining tables, bar stations, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food preparation or bussing tables during busy periods to support kitchen staff and ensure guest satisfaction

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other restaurant POS platforms
• Strong knowledge of food industry standards, food safety practices, and sanitation procedures
• Proven ability in customer service roles within restaurants or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or transactions efficiently during peak hours
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service to enhance guest interactions through upselling opportunities
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure
• Experience in food handling, serving, bussing, or host/hostess duties within a restaurant or food service environment

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
