Server/Cashier

A restaurant server manages the guest dining experience by greeting customers, taking accurate food and beverage orders, delivering items promptly, and handling payments, all while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. They must have strong communication, multitasking skills, and physical stamina to work in fast-paced environments.

• Customer Service: Greeting guests, answering menu questions, making recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the meal.
• Order Management: Taking food/drink orders accurately and entering them into the POS system.
• Service Delivery: Delivering food and beverages from the kitchen/bar to tables efficiently.
• Table Maintenance: Clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables for new guests.
• Financial Transactions: Processing payments, handling cash, and managing tips.
• Sidework: Cleaning service areas, restocking napkins/condiments, and rolling silverware.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Communication: Excellent verbal skills for interacting with guests and kitchen staff.
• Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tables simultaneously.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for long periods and carry heavy trays.
• Product Knowledge: Familiarity with food, beverages, and ingredients, including allergen information.
• POS Proficiency: Experience with point-of-sale systems.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Lifting and carrying trays up to 25-30 pounds.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $5.49 - $13.73 per hour
